A full day out in a small group tour! Departing from central Valencia in a comfortable car, enjoy the countryside in our way the Utiel-Requena wine producting area. Valeria or Paulius, your wine experts will show you all the insights of the wineland. In Requena old city you will visit a medieval, quaint, underground winery and learn the traditional way of making wine. You will be introduced to the Bobal, the local red variety, among others, in the wine tasting with a suprise pairing. Your guide will take you around the narrow streets of Requena, and tell you the history of this remarkable town and its golden, silk-producing past. The tour will continue with a visit to a family-owned estate where you will enjoy their hospitality, visit their vineyards, winery and of course taste their best wines and have a bite of some local charcuterie. You'll get the chance to hike in the surroundings of the town and get the best views of nature, run to avoid getting wet at the "Chorro", a powerful water jet ejecting more than 4000 liters of water every second. You will also have time to relax and swim in the thermal waters of the river, they are 22 degrees. The hiking route (not mandatory) is an easy route of about 5km. It will give you the opportunity to enjoy wonderful views of the town and the river, you will go through the mountains. Later, after the picnic, you will be able to swim in the thermal waters, which have a temperature constant all year of 22 degrees, which qualifies as hypothermal and by its chemical composition is considered mineralized and ideal for the skin and health. Mountain Hike & Thermal Springs - private full day tour
This tour combines an adventurous and scenic mountain hike followed by the relaxation of the natural thermal springs. This is a sensational way to escape the city and experience the natural beauty of the Valencian region. The 9 km circular trail follows the river Maimona and its impressive canyon. Pass through pine forests and gorges and be amazed by the huge vertical cliffs created by the river. It takes around 3 hrs 15 mins. Alternatively, a shorter and easier hike of 6 km (1 hr 45) can be chosen instead. After the hike you can choose to have lunch in one of the local village tapas restaurants for some non-touristy local dishes or head straight to the thermal springs and eat your lunch there. The thermal springs of Montanejos maintain a constant temperature of 25°C. Take a dip and swim in the crystal blue water which have medicinal properties. You can also jump off a 3 m rock if you are daring. You will also visit the horizontal water jet created from a dam and the reservoir.
