Afternoon Low Isles Snorkelling & Sunset Sail from Port Douglas
Sail to the Great Barrier Reef’s Low Isles during a relaxing, afternoon cruise aboard a luxury catamaran. Moor at a secluded island with pristine white-sand beaches where you can admire colorful fish, coral and sea turtles while snorkeling or taking an included glass-bottom boat tour. Departing Port Douglas or Palm Cove (not available from Cairns) enjoy this small-group Kuranda day trip limited to 20 guests guaranteeing personal service and entertaining commentary throughout your day. Your first stop is Freshwater station to take a journey aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, travel through the rainforest. On arrival in Kuranda, your guide will meet you there and show you around this 'Village in the rainforest' famous for its colorful arts and crafts markets. After approximately 2-hours in Kuranda it's time for a trip on the multi- award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will enjoy a world heritage listed rainforest experience and take in some of the most spectacular views on earth. Next, head up the coast to stunning Palm Cove for a drink (at own expense) overlooking the picturesque beach. Returning to Port Douglas 5.30pm -6.30pm depending on which departure time is selected and the end of the day together.

There is nothing else like this in the Daintree! Tour approx 8:30am to 4:30pm. We have been given exclusive access to a private Daintree Rainforest tropical fruit farm, where we can hike into the ancient rainforest and swim beneath a pristine, secluded waterfall.... After exploring this idyllic walk through lush forest glades and the creekside valley, we enjoy a superb gourmet lunch, with choices of steak, barramundi fish, chicken, kangaroo and vegetarian. And then finishing the afternoon with a unique solar~powered Daintree River boat cruise searching for the fascinating estuarine crocodiles and other wildlife of this World Heritage ecosystem. Morning Daintree River and Mossman Gorge from Port Douglas
This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out or are short on time. We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge. We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way. Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more. After the Wildlife Cruise, we enjoy morning tea with Lamingtons and tea/coffee. Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a memorable way to spend your morning!
