Byron Bay Platypus Walk
See platypus in their natural habitat. It is possible to see platypus at any time of the day, but our best chance is just after dawn. We pick you up from your Byron Bay accommodation and drive to the special platypus area. From there we start our 2 km easy walk along the creek looking for platypus. We usually see one or two platypus, and loads of birds. After watching the platypus have their breakfast we relax with ours – a picnic by the creek – before returning to Byron Bay. We can’t guarantee platypus sightings on this tour, but don’t worry. If we don’t see them we take you on another day, free. LIGHTHOUSE TRAIL Guided Sunrise Tours to Cape Byron Lighthouse
Wander Byron provides guided sunrise tours up to Byron Bay lighthouse that will align physical and spiritual wellness, allowing for gratitude, energy and enlightenment. One hour prior to sunrise, guests meet their tour guide to enjoy an uplifting elixir to open their hearts & minds followed by an energising trail mix featuring local produce. With a new sense of excitement, guests will embark on a 2hr adventure! Guests will be taken on a hike through rainforest, beach and clifftops to be the first people in Australia to witness the spectacular sunrise at the most easterly point in the country. Utilising yogic and ayurvedic traditions, you will be guided through sunrise salutations and breathwork during this spiritually charged time.
Half Day Surf Lesson
Jump on board for a half day learn to surf adventure! Small groups, uncrowded perfect waves and a great selection of beautiful beaches. The highly-qualified instructors at the surf school are dedicated to providing you with a totally awesome surfing experience.
Cape Byron Aboriginal Tour
On this tour, guests are taken on an easy walk while learning about significant places and hearing local history and traditional stories. Highlights include the story of Nguthungalli (Julian Rocks), and information about Walgun (Cape Byron) and the thousand year old midden. There are also opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts. At the end of the tour, guests enjoy tasting some delicious bush tucker foods and have a nice cup of bush tea and a biscuit.
Full Barrel Brewery and Distillery tour
Join us for a leisurely discovery of Byron Bay's finest! We kick things off at 11 AM and will head to 3 local Breweries and a Distillery. Or 2 breweries and 2 distilleries. Also includes a large tasty Lunch. We also cater for all dietaries. At each Brewery and Distillery, we will get to taste a large selection of their Beers and Spirits on offer. With a guided tasting at each and 15-20 drinks in total throughout the day (all included) Not a beer drinker?
