Arcan, a rave bar in quiet neighborhood

The playlist dominated by pulsating Techno, sprinkled with surprises like Japanese city pop or a Vietnamese pop song to spice up the rhythm, and then bam! The beat drops, and we're lost in the techno trance.

Arcan
236, 29/2H Đ. Điện Biên Phủ, Phường 17, Bình Thạnh, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 700000, Vietnam

Enter Arcan, a hidden gem nestled in a tranquil Bavarian neighborhood – the ultimate rave haven that has me reminiscing about my first wild encounter with techno beats in a Prague bar. Picture this: the music so loud it engulfs your thoughts, making ordering a drink feel like a covert mission. My companions, a spirited group of Canadians I met at the hostel, added some charm, but let's be honest, the music didn't quite hit the spot.

Now, fast-forward a few years and Arcan bursts onto the scene, rekindling my love for the rave experience. Venturing to Arcan multiple times in the past few weeks, I've discovered the magic unfolds exclusively on Saturdays, with a modest entrance fee of 200K per person. No fixed playlist or resident DJ here – each day brings a fresh vibe and a new musical journey.

As we step inside Arcan, you'll find yourself in a swirling mix of crowd, mist, and darkness. Yet, there's an undeniable somber charm, illuminated by the play of intense beams of light. The atmosphere is nothing short of fantastic, fueled by the lively energy of the people and the pulsating beats. It's the very essence of a true rave bar.

The party enthusiasts here are a lively bunch – mostly easygoing, fun-loving, and surprisingly well-behaved. Sure, there might be the occasional group of young tourists disrupting the vibe, but they're the exception rather than the rule.

As for the drinks, they won't burn a hole in your pocket. You can always bring bring your own booze and sip away without any restrictions – a rare gem that I wish more places embraced. The music may call it quits at 5 am, but don't forget to peek at their Facebook page for the DJ lineup and the playlist.

I really love the vibe of the beats booming, the crowd buzzing, and the floor so alive past midnight.
