Nowhere in Europe can you find 6000 islands so closely clustered together - a maze from the forested sheltered islands close to the mainland out to the barren islets bordering the open sea. You'll team up with a crew of like-minded adventurers for this unforgettable wilderness experience. Your Tour Guides will take you far and wide, teaching flora, fauna & geology along the route. You'll venture far to the outer islands of the archipelago and get close to the amazing birdlife in this unusual habitat, and you may spot Grey seals. This is a team effort through and through! Strangers at first, then quickly a well-oiled crew of explorers who are in it together! You’ll cook delicious meals as a team, decide on the route as a team and learn fun skills from your guides and from each other.

Stockholm Archipelago Sunset Kayaking and Fika tour
Enjoy Stockholm Archipelago in the glow of the sunset light. Perfect and relaxing activity for the end of the day! The Sunset Kayak Tour in Stockholm Archipelago is truly a spectacular experience. Take in the serenity of archipelago when the sun goes down – a time when the seas are at their calmest. Immerse yourself in the spectacular natural environment, despite being just 30-minutes from Stockholm. We go kayaking in the nearby waters to enjoy the calm and relaxing evening filled with all the wonderful scents of nature. We will quietly and slowly enjoy surroundings along the way. The pace for these tours is a little slower than our normal 4-hour Archipelago Kayak Tour. We will try to spot native wildlife including beavers, seals, roe deers and coastal birds. Wear outdoor clothes according to the weather: quick-dry hiking pants/shorts, thermal top, a rain jacket and sandals (shoes you don’t mind getting wet). If you wear prescription glasses we also recommend using a strap.

As the sun sets over the horizon, you paddle along the waters and have the perfect vantage point to take in the stunning views of the city. This tour is perfect for beginners and novice paddlers, and the experienced kayak guide will provide safety and paddle introductions before departure. The tour takes you through some of Stockholm's most historic neighbourhoods, including Langholmen, Södermalm, Gamla Stan, Kungsholmen, and Lila Essingen. You'll paddle under charming bridges, past colourful buildings, and through peaceful waterways. During the tour, we'll take a traditional Swedish Fika break, featuring organic ingredients. It's the perfect time to relax, refuel, and chat with your fellow paddlers.
