Yukon Extended Summit Drive Tour (From Skagway)
Take a 5-hour guided journey into the incredible and “larger than life” Yukon Territory. Enjoy multiple photo stops and bask in its natural wonders as your guide takes you to explore the city of Carcross, famous for being the crossroads of the Klondike. Stop at the 'Welcome to Alaska' sign and many other amazing photo stops along the way to take in the sweeping landscapes, towering mountains, alpine lakes, hanging glaciers, and the world's smallest desert.
Musher's Camp and S'more Roasting Experience
We will pick you up on the dock right off your cruise ship. Your guides will be in green and holding a sign for your excursion so keep an eye out for them! Be sure to bring a copy of your reservation with you. After we pick you up, you'll experience a guided bus tour through downtown Skagway all the way to our basecamp located in scenic Dyea! Once you're done cuddling with Alaskan puppies and perfecting your s'mores roasting, you'll have some time to explore our basecamp which includes a cafe, saloon and gift shop! Afterwards, your guide will take you back to town and drop you off at your cruise ship dock!
Musher's Camp and Gold Panning Adventure
Learn about dog mushing and gold panning in this fun, family-friendly Alaskan experience! After arriving to our base camp, begin your tour with a Musher Talk, where the mushers share fascinating information about the Alaskan state sport of mushing. Of course, we make sure you have plenty of time to meet some of our professional athletes---our sled dogs and puppies! After that, take a chance to pan for gold in our riverside sluice. Once your guide shows you the art of gold panning, you can test your luck to see what you can find. Then you will have time to take a self-guided nature hike next to beautiful waterfalls and dense Alaskan forest or browse the gift shop and relax in our saloon with a deck overlooking the picturesque stream. All of this in a spectacular Alaskan setting! This is a tour full of Alaskan adventure, history, and awe-inspiring wilderness. Pet the Pups 7-hour Scenic Journey to the Yukon and Dogsledding Camp
Pet the Pups with Michelle Phillips and husband Ed Hopkins as they share their 50 years of combined mushing knowledge! At their dog mushing camp we will learn about the incredible sport of winter competitive mushing, the endurance and grit and bond required by both the dog team and their human to race through the wilderness in sometimes below freezing temperatures. We will also pet the adorable future racing pups! You’ll receive a signed copy of Michelle Phillips book, some dog booties, a dog tag, and sponsorship of a sled dog. You may also book a thrilling 15 minute dog cart ride on a sturdy UTV (side by side), pulled by their racing dog team for an additional charge. You will travel all the way up to Emerald Lake, stopping to take in many different scenic points, with your private tour guide.
Skagway Trail and Sail
This eco-friendly tour of Skagway is like no other experience around! Your tour starts at Klondike Electric Bicycles where you will join us for a City Highlights and Gold Panning experience through Skagway. You will visit a waterfall, scenic vistas, and the Gold Rush Cemetery…all while learning the history behind this historic Gold Rush town. You will even have a chance to strike it rich in your own gold panning experience! Your E-Bike Tour will end at the Small Boat Harbor, where you’ll meet Capt. Brendan and Chef Ben, then board the 50’ sailing sloop Hopscotch! After working up an appetite on the bikes you’ll be ready for lunch! Chef Ben will serve you a hearty and healthy lunch as you get underway and head into the Taiya inlet! Explore the longest deepest Fjord in North America sailing past waterfalls and hanging glaciers…AND if you are lucky, we may even see eagles, whales, and seals! For this tour to operate, there needs to be a minimum of 2 guests with a maximum of 6 guests.
