Paddle & Hike in Caines Head! 8 hour Paddle & Hike This fantastic World War II defensive structure is located at the top of Caines Head, as part of the Caines Head State Park Recreation area. We paddle out and land at the original Fort McGilvray dock. From there, we begin our Alaskan hike, complete with an exhilarating 650′ of elevation gain in two miles. Atop you find a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Alaska, Harding Gateway, and the Barrier Islands of Resurrection Bay! Bring a headlamp or flashlight to explore Fort McGilvray and have a snack at the gunning embedment before heading back down the trail for a fun kayaking adventure to Millers Landing.

Since then it has evolved into a thriving community. Seward provides visitors with beautiful wildlife, awe-inspiring scenery, and the quaint charm of a small town. Perfectly suited for discovery on foot, our self-guided audio tour allows you to set your own pace and explore at your leisure as you uncover the stories of this lovely city. Simply download our self-guided audio tour, plug in your headphones, open the map that comes with your download and head to the tour starting point. The tour will take approximately two hours, but you can pause the audio guide when needed. Grab a bite to eat or do some shopping along the way. Extended Bear Glacier Scenic Flight
Our 45 minute scenic flight visits both Bear Glacier and Aialik Glacier. Bear Glacier is the largest glacier descending from the Harding Icefield in Kenai Fjords National Park at over 11 miles long and 3 miles wide. Bear Glacier lagoon features impressive icebergs. Continue on to Aialik Glacier which boasts an impressive ice wall that is over 500 feet high! Watch for calving on this immense glacier and truly appreciate the grandeur of Alaska's environments by getting up close to them!
Grand View Tour
Enjoy a grand tour of the incredible scenery surrounding Seward, Alaska on this 1-hour helicopter trip. This is the most extensive flight seeing tour that we offer as a standard departure (call our office to customize a longer private tour). This tour really gives you time to see all Alaska has to offer including the possibility to visit Bear Glacier with its giant icebergs floating in the lagoon, the Harding Icefield, wildlife like bears, moose and mountain goats. Our route will change depending on what the weather conditions are that day, we try to accommodate guest preference on what they are looking to see whenever nature allows. Our typical route involves viewing Resurrection Bay, the Kenai Fjords National Park and many of its glaciers, the Harding Icefield and searching for wildlife.
