Tuscan Cooking Class
I'm Katia and me and my uncle Fulvio run the Tuscan cooking class in our family farmhouse. We are 4 km far from the fantastic town of San Gimignano and we teach you how to prepare a real Tuscany meal but most important we teach you how the food should taste. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to spent in a real Tuscany family. We'll make a lot of typical Tuscany antipasti, then we prepare primi piatti, and we make one type of pasta hand made, two different sauces for pasta, and then a second course with meat.
Private Wine & Oil Tasting with Lunch
Treat yourself with a delightful Tuscan experience. Dive into the green shades of our vineyard with a private description of our farm. The experience will start with a detailed introduction to the agricultural methods we adopted, how our biodynamic production method works, and the farm's history. Then, you will have a three courses Tuscan lunch and a wine tasting with 4-5 organic wines that come straight from the winery's vineyards and the chance to taste all our extra virgin olive oils surrounded by a spectacular Tuscan setting. We are just a few minutes from San Gimignano town center, with a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside and the town's Medieval towers. An Italian or English-speaking family member will guide you in the experience with a professional and warm family welcome.
Wine and food tasting on an organic family farm.
Guided tour of the farm structures near San Gimignano: vegetable garden, orchard, vineyard, olive grove, vinsantaia, historical cellar, collection of tools from the farming world. Tasting of 8 wines from our production: - "Casa Lucii" DOCG Vernaccia di San Gimignano; - 2 different vintages of "Mareterra" DOCG Vernaccia di San Gimignano reserve; - "Spicchio" IGT rosé Tuscan; - "Fuscelli" DOCG Chianti; - "Senarum" DOCG Chianti Colli Senesi, - "Arturo" IGT Tuscan Red. The tasting is accompanied by a taste of our organic extra virgin olive oil, cheese and cold cuts selection produced by local farms and accompanied by vegetables from the garden and finally will be served as dessert Vin Santo del Chianti "Curato" and Tuscan Cantucci.

If you want to deepen your knowledge about this prestigious ingredient this is the perfect experience for you! Our authorized guides will accompany you to the nearest & natural truffle area around San Gimignano and teach you all the things that you must know about truffles. After that, the real hunting will start, and with the help of our guides and our four-legged friends, you'll have the chance to try the emotion of finding truffles completely surrounded by nature. At the end of the hunting, drive back to Podere La Marronaia and prepare your palate for an entire truffle lunch paired with a tasting of our organic wines and extra virgin olive oils.

.Set up your 2-hour pasta-making class, which offers a relaxed and respectful environment to learn Tuscan culinary secrets. Enjoy three types of pasta for lunch for dinner, followed by tastings of 15 products including wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Through the assistance of a professional English-speaking chef, you will learn everything there is to know about fresh homemade pasta. Hotel pickup and drop-off is not included
Private Tour in San Gimignano
Immerse yourself in the Middle Ages, visiting one of the most beautiful medieval villages of Italy. You will never forget the ancient towers and the dreamlike landscape by which it is surrounded. The tour will begin from the main gate, Porta San Giovanni, continue towards Piazza della Cisterna, where you can taste the famous ice cream that won many prizes. In the next square admire the Public Palace and the wonderful Cathedral. If you choose to visit the palace, you will explore the Civic Museum and the highest tower of the town, from where you can take wonderful pictures or if you prefer to enter inside the Cathedral you will see the well-preserved frescoes. At the end of the tour enjoy the panorama from the fortress, where today is situated the Vernaccia Museum, the DOCG white wine produced in this area.

More than a Cooking Class Cooking Class includes: - an intensive cooking session with instruction (in English) and practice with our chef, 3 course meal following the lesson including selected wines (Prosecco and Chianti), coffee, all food ingredients, taxes, - visit to the cellars of the Ugo Bing Winery with tasting of the wines that will be served with lunch/dinner, - the evocative visit to the 2500 years old Etruscan granaries located in the underground caves beneath the Villa.
