Private Tour of the Badlands with Local Experts
The Badlands have many secrets and requires a seasoned guide to explain and reveal them. GeoFunTrek Tours' guides are local experts with decades of experience. We have no seasonal-guides, part-time guides or trainee-guides. This is a family-owned business and all tours are conducted by family members: Cindy, Christopher and John Esposti. We have the knowledge and skills to make your day one to remember. You will always get the A-Team when you tour with GeoFunTrek Tours! All tours are PRIVATE TOURS, exclusive to the group booking the tour, and no additional guests will be included. Children must be accompanied by one adult. Children 3 years and younger are free and will have their own seat. Children's car seats must be supplied by family members when required. Our largest vehicle, a Sprinter van seats 9, and a larger vehicle may be rented or we can add a Honda Pilot for larger groups. This tour is great for 3-generation families with Children, multiple couples and groups of friends.

Private Badlands National Park Day Tour
Experience another world in Badlands National Park. Wildlife and fossil spotting is a favorite as we weave our way through the spires and pinnacles of the park. We make many stops, and can incorporate a hike if you wish! Lunch in the park with spectacular views will be a highlight. On to the Minuteman National Historic Site, for some incredible living WW2 history. On our way back to Rapid City, Wall Drug calls us in for homemade donuts. Badlands Sunset, Stars and Silhouettes Tour
This is our favorite tour! You never know what you're going to see. An array of animals come out to frolic and pose for beautiful photos during the golden hour. You'll be taken to special locations where animals congregate during the setting sun. As you enjoy the wildlife of the Badlands, we'll set up with folding chairs, drinks and snacks at a perfect location to watch the sunset. The "Blue Hour" begins after sunset and continues for an hour, highlighting the wild formations with the bright blue and orange sky. Next, we'll take you to the night viewing area in the park at a location only My XO Adventures knows. We provide you with blankets, comfortable mats, and pillows to see as much of the sky as possible. Laying on the cozy 2 inch mats, we'll see planets, shooting stars, and the Milky Way Galaxy. Our guide will take night photos and share them with you at the end of the tour.
Mt Rush Lighting - Tunnels At Night - Starz
Twice the Experience - Both Informative and Fun! 1. Mt Rushmore Night Ceremony - We pick you up at your downtown hotel in our unique Woody vans. You will enjoy fantastic views of the Black Hills National Forest along the way . Arriving at the monument 7:00pm you walk Avenue of Flags before enjoying the ceremony in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater. At 8:00pm the program begins with an introduction from a national park ranger and continues with an informative film about the creation of Mt Rushmore. Very patriotic with honoring our veterans at the end. 2. Iron Mtn Road - At the conclusion of the Ceremony - we exit the Monument and drive slowly up the famous Iron Mountain Road, up the twisting pigtail bridges. Near the top we stop and you will view the Four Faces framed in the dark one way tunnels. Few visitors view the Monument this way. Weather permitting, before we return you to your hotel, you will be able to view the evening stars . . . away from the cities ambient light.
