Roberto Barrios is located about an hour drive outside of the town of Palenque. One of the newest tours that we offer, where you’ll have the opportunity to get to know a territory once owned by the EZLN (Zapatista Army of National Liberation), to become a community focused on eco-tourism through a natural bath that comes from waters with colors varying from turquoise blue to emerald. The changing of colors is due to the reflection of the sun on the limestone floor, the water comes from a branch of the Tulija river. The falls consist of 6 swimming areas that all have their own unique touch inside of the jungle. Some offer high waterfalls that you can jump off and others offer relaxing infinity pools. The whole area is filled with natural slides, caves you can venture into, and waterfalls to shower in.
