DOLPHIN COASTAL EXPEDITION by Discovery Center, Kep West

Start the day with a scenic 1-hour drive and enjoy the beautiful rural villages along the way. Upon arrival, a local guide will greet you and assist you throughout the day. A quick simple breakfast will be served on the mangrove floating hut with a stunning view of the Gulf of Siam. After breakfast, hop on a boat and head out to nearby areas where the Irrawaddy dolphin and dugong are commonly spotted. Keep your eyes peeled as you cruise along and witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. You also have an opportunity to stop on the protected coral reef for snorkeling and explore the fragile marine eco system around the area. Learn about the importance of mangroves, take part in hands-on mangrove planting activities, and contribute to conservation efforts.
