Mt Field and Styx Valley Photography Tour
Visit some spectacular forested areas in this small Tasmanian photography group tour departing from Hobart. You will travel to Mount Field National Park and photo shoot Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. After lunch, you will visit the giant trees of the Styx Valley of the Giants. Topics include long exposure, macro and full manual camera settings. Printed photographic notes provided. Port Arthur Shore Excursion
Created for cruise ships we will tailor the tour based on your arrival and departure times. We will visit the incredible historic Port Arthur site, view some amazing scenery & taste local produce. The day will start with a drive to the beautiful Tasman Peninsula to relish in the incredible views from Pirates Bay Lookout. We will then go to historic Port Arthur where you will have 3 hours to explore. You will have access to a self-guided Port Arthur Audio Experience, a 20-minute harbour cruise on Carnarvon Bay around the Isle of the Dead, complimentary site talks & access to more than 30 historic buildings. On our way home you will enjoy a visit to the Port Arthur Lavender Farm, stop at Tasmanian chocolate foundry and if we have time enjoy a gin tasting at HellFire Distillery.
