Tataouine Cheneni 1 day visit
07:00: Departure from the hotel by the Roman road direction Tataouine. 08:00: Arrival to Khalfallah. Stop and visit an oil mill during the olive harvest period or stop at the sand dunes of the Chahbania. 09:00: Arrival to Tataouine and visit the market and the downtown 11:00: Proceed to Chenini, the village topped by a rocky ridge at the foot of which stands a very old mosque. 12:00: Lunch at the Kenza Chenini or a similar restaurant. 13:15: Guided tour of the Berber village Chenini. 14:15: Depart to Ksar El Ferch or Ksar Hdadda. 15:00: Arrival to the Ksar and visit. 16h15: Departure to Djerba via the Roman road. 17h30: Arrival at the hotel. Tour of Djerba island
Program: 8am: Departure to the Roman road, and then continue to the Berber village of Guellala. Visit an old pottery workshop and the Museum of Arts and Djerbean life. Continue to the village of Erriadh and ‘La Ghriba’, the oldest synagogue in Africa. Visit to Djerbahood, the Street Art exposition initiated in 2014. A magnificent 2h30 walk through the tracks lined with prickly pears, aloe vera and algaves to discover typical Djerbian villages, the other side of the island far from hotels and tourists. Program: 06h00: Departure in the direction of Medenine by the Roman road which is the main link between Djerba and the mainland (Photos and stop visit). 07h00: Coffee break with an explanation of your program. 08h15: We are moving away gradually from large cities and crossing a few villages of Beni kheddach before the paved road ends. 09h30: The trail begins in the middle of a desert of stones (the reg). Break for photos in the complete rock desert. 10h00: Continue to the oasis of Ksar Guilaine located in the fine sand dunes where begins the Grand Erg Oriental. 11h00: Arrival at Ksar Ghilane, free time to admire the oasis around the source of hot water, opportunity to bathe in the hot spring. 13h00: Lunch 14h30: Departure to Matmata: Visit of the Berber villages of Tamazret and Toujane. 15h30: Arrival at Matmata and visit of troglodyte house and continuation to Sidi Driss Hotel and visit of the Star Wars decoration. 16h15: Departure to Djerba. 18h00: Arrival at the hotel.
Ancient Carthage and Sidi Bou Said Half Day Tour with Lunch
