Hike to the highest Colombian waterfall! (La Chorrera and Chiflon)
Join us as we hike to La Chorrera, Colombia´s highest waterfall! We´ll start the day with a traditional Colombian breakfast. Then we´ll set off by a van to La Chorrera, taking a brief stop for pictures at the páramo, a unique Andean ecosystem nearby Bogotá. Next we will reach the park and set off on our trek, taking in the spectacular landscape, breathing the pure air and enjoying the colorful birds found at the top of the trees, finally reaching the 590 meter wall of water. We´ll have lunch at a restaurant before heading back to Bogotá. This 3-4 hour hike is challenging but rewarding, please make sure to bring comfortable shoes and bottled water! Be a farmer for one day (Coffee farm experience)
Join us on our Coffee Farm experience as we set out from the center of the city and head an hour and a half deeper into the mountains of Bogotá! We will start the day by enjoying a traditional Colombian breakfast together and then go to meet our local farmers. We will discuss what it means to be an organic coffee farm and what the daily tasks of a farmer look like. We will walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants. We’ll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it, and then afterwards we will enjoy a delicious cup of coffee prepared in a unique way. If the weather and season permits we will even get to plant our own coffee! We wrap up the tour with local cuisine for lunch and began the trip back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Total duration: 7-8 hours.

Let's visit the Sacred Lagoon and Salt Cathedral in 1 day! In this shared tour we will visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá which is the second largest cathedral made of salt in the world. This is a salt complex located 180 meters below the ground, which represents one of the most distinguished achievements of Colombian architecture, as well as being a true faith for the miners. In addition to this, we will visit the Laguna Sagrada de Guatavita, where the legend of "El Dorado" took place. This is a magical green area surrounded by an incredible landscape that you can see once at the top of the lagoon.
