Beautiful Self Guided Kayaking by the Biltmore
Enjoy this relaxing and spectacularly beautiful float through the breathtaking Biltmore property. This calm water trip begins in the heart of Asheville at our Outpost. We shuttle you to our private access point to launch your trip. The trip lasts approximately 2.5-3 hours. On this trip you will float down the majestic French Broad river starting south of the city. Along the way you will see views of the surrounding southern Appalachian mountains and will often have a chance to see some of the local wildlife (if you’re lucky). At the conclusion of this trip you will finish back at our Outpost in the heart of the famous River Arts District where you can relax and enjoy a beer at our bar by the river. Guided Horseback Ride through Flame Azalea and Fern Forest
The flame fern trail ride combines the Majestic Flame Azalea and the lush Fern Forest for a really enjoyable trail ride for everyone. You start up the mountain traveling through a hard wood forest filled with wild Flame Azaleas. After the hardwoods, you enter an enchanting white pine forest just like in the Star Wars movie.
Sunset E-Bike Ride
We will begin at our shop in North Asheville as the sun gets low in the sky. After we take some time to get custom sized and aquatinted with the e bikes we will set out on our ride up the beautiful mountains that surround Asheville. We will climb up to a breathtaking overlook where we will stop for some refreshments as the light grows long in the Asheville valley down below. During this time of day, much of the wildlife in Asheville is the most active, and we will be sure to take our time enjoying any of the diverse critters who may cross our path during our ride. After stopping by the historic veranda at the Grove Park Inn, we will conclude watching the last rays of sun fade over Southern Appalachia from a local Asheville brewery.
