Do you want to explore authentic Mexican markets but don't know where to start? Look no further! You''ll see 2 markets and you'll also get to try different traditional Mexican dishes like quesadillas, atole, coctel de frutas, mole, huaraches and more. We will embark on brief walking tour of Centro Historico, where you will learn about the early years of Tenochtitlan and some facts about what we call CDMX today. The first market we’ll visit is a local market that could very well be confused with a museum. You’ll get to appreciate murals from the 30s! Then, we'll travel by subway to Jamaica market where you will marvel at the diversity of flowers it holds. At the market, we buy the ingredients for YOUR salsa, so you get to choose how to make it! Your salsa making lesson will take place in a family-run eatery that has been there for generations and your teacher will be a family member. In the end, you will get to eat your creation in their establishment and rest before going back.
