***Children under the age of 13 enter the museum for FREE*** The National Museum of Anthropology´s collection is made up of numerous archaeological pieces from all over Mexico. Among its most emblematic pieces are the Piedra del Sol or better know was the Aztec Calendar, the colossal heads of the Olmec culture, the monumental Teotihuacan sculptures dedicated to the water gods, Pakal´s tomb, the Monte Albán funerary offerings , the stelae of Xochicalco, as well as a Toltec Atlantean brought from Tollan-Xicocotitlan as well as the Tláloc Monolith thats located at the entrance to the museum.
