Ho Chi Minh City is a city for coffee lovers, I'll show you why

I'm not saying HCMC is the "only" city on Earth made for coffee heads, but it has all bells and whistles for any visitors who happen to love drinking coffee to love it. I've heard Sidney or Seoul are the most respected in coffee making, and I agree with that statement. Almost all of the coffee brewed in Saigon which is worth drinking are imported, some indigenous coffee grower or coffee bean producer are really good but I'm not going to discuss which is the best coffee in this article. I'm just merely showing how diverse and well-catered to coffee lovers is Saigon. And I'm not saying in a superficial way that there are so many coffee shops over here, but there are subcultures and a small population in Saigon where you can go down on the street and enjoy a cup of coffee, regardless of how exotic the bean's origin is.

Incidentally, by the time I've begun to write this article, a coffee exhibition in Saigon's most esteemed palace was concluded. I'm going to show these photos I took at the event along with some coffee shop suggestions for the coffee head on Placely.

A costly choice, and has exquisite taste, well to be honest even the highest-priced drink in this coffee won't be that much compared to a medium cappuccino in another big city like New York or London. I'd say the coffees are moderate and exotic but you won't expect any modern technology to get into the brewing method. Most are imported beans from South America.

Not as exotic as Vuon Thao Dien but they have the best Vietnamese milk coffee in my opinion. The coffee has a distinctly sour taste without the burning bitterness. It goes exceptionally well with condensed milk.

Same as the name suggested, this is the place for a somber atmosphere, soft music, and musky and wooden air.

I've grown so fond of the Espresso at this coffee shop. With enough sugar, the espresso turns into a magnificent, modern combination. The coffee can both be sweet, sour, and spiky, like coca cola at the same time. Do try the espresso, with sugar, they often forget the sugar.
