Our Wild Atlantic Way walk in the heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) will bring you along the cliffs of Dunquin, overlooking the Blasket Island archipelago. Walk through wild countryside to the 130m high Coomanassig waterfall and take a break by the dark waters of Eagle Lake. Marvel at the towering 260 metre corrie cliff faces. Explore this geological wonderland and the lower heights of the Dunkerron Mountains. Traverse the open moorland long ago smoothed by the deposits of ice age glaciers. Possible encounters with sheep, hares, mountain goats, huge ravens and perhaps the white-tailed sea eagles.
