Specifically Shaq Al Reesh means ‘crevice of feathers’, which refers to a large geological fissure of the limestone rocks, in which you will find many bird feathers - as it’s a natural habitat for many species in the Nature Reserve. The trail takes you over around and among the rocks, and you will be charmed by its unique character.
