A tour with Anne is an exceptional way to become versed in the town's history, not only because she saw it, but through her hilarious weaving of facts, modern events, and unique... personality. Though routes vary, 2024 tours start at Provincetown Brewing Company and are each about an hour in duration and a mile in distance. Offered three times daily. 20 people maximum on each tour. This tour is available for all experience levels. Night photography is a fantastic way to capture popular or "over shot" subjects in new ways. We'll use long exposure techniques and flashlights to create an immersive art experience. If you've never visited the Cape Cod area and are unsure of where the best subjects are, this tour ensures you get the best locations based on the sky conditions available. Our first stop will be at Long Point where you'll see Long Point Lighthouse and it's stunning views. As we travel into the Provincelands we'll have views of 2 other Provincetown lighthouses, Wood's End and The Race Point Light House. Stopping at the Provincelands Visitor’s Center you can explore the museum and amazing viewing deck of the dunes and Atlantic Ocean! From this vantage point there is a strong chance of seeing a variety of whales feeding just off the shores! We'll then make our way to the Beech Forest trail where you'll enjoy a guided mile loop hike around one of Cape Cod's famous glacial kettle ponds. Learn about the geology of the Cape as we travel throughthis unique Forest. This is also a very popular birding spot and a local hiking favorite!
