This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

Learn fun historical facts about Breckenridge, Co as you ride around on a state of the art fat bike while on a guided Ridden bike tour. Once out of town guests have the option to descend on a potentially groomed or natural snow surface, a dry bike path or a dirt single track, all which depends on what time of year we are riding. Our family friendly four mile ride brings us to the Broken Compass Craft Brewery and then the Breckenridge Distillery. Join AVA for a pristine fly fishing excursion on the Colorado River. Our four hour float trips are perfect for both novice and experienced fisherman. The trip will meet at our Kremmling Outpost, located an hour from Summit County. This trip is perfect for a father-son bonding day or two friends who simply want to enjoy one another’s company while taking in the beauty of the Colorado River. This trip is unique in that each raft will have only one or two guests accompanied by one guide. The guide will be an experienced river and fishing guide who will handle all of the rowing of the raft and instruct guests on everything they should know to be a successful angler. AVA is a Licensed River Outfitter – Issued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management
