Zeus Cave-Traditional-Villages-Old Wind Mills-Olive Oil Factory-Small Group.

This is my favorite tour in Crete because you get to see the real Crete, the old wind mills the old traditional villages, Zeus Cave where the king of all the Greek gods was born. His mother gave birth there to hide from his father Kronos. We will see the old windmills and the amazing views from an altitude of around 1000 m above sea level . Then it's off to Lasithi plateau, the biggest one in Crete . Driving through the old villages on the Lasithi plateau you feel that you are traveling back in time, like time stopped long ago.We will visit an olive oil factory where we learn about how olive oil is made now and how they used to do it in the olden days of course we will taste different kind of local olive oil and honey. We will enjoy lunch at a family restaurant up on the mountain where you get to taste the Real Cretan food . We will pick you up from Heraklion - Malia - Sisi - Hersonisos - Gouves - Analipsi . We don’t pick up from Chania- Rethimnon- Elounda- Ag Nikolaous.
