We’ll start in the old Parlor, richly decorated with antiques and historic details: low ceilings, an original fireplace and wide-pine floors. A selection of historical drinks are provided; the same types drank in this house in the 1700s. Then we’ll immerse ourselves in the old rustic kitchen for a glimpse of what daily life was like when Salem was on the frontier; complete with 9’ cooking fireplace and protection marks carved into the wood to ward off the evils of the world. Throughout you’ll get an intimate look at original details from the Witch Trials, American Revolution and beyond. You can sit in the furniture, touch the objects, take all the photos. This house is not a museum nor a reproduction; it's an original home representing over 350 years of daily life. Ticket proceeds go toward preservation of the House.
