This is a unique opportunity to see a well preserved lava shield volcano in the company of an authentic geologist, the Budj Bim (Mount Eccles) Volcano. With the option of also visiting a cluster of lava blisters (Tumuli), a very rare and exceptional landscape of this style. Or, if you prefer, we can return via a local winery. The 12 Apostles Bicycle Trail meanders from Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road to Timboon, Victoria. The bicycle trail also connects to the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail in Timboon which takes you through to Naroghid, near Camperdown, Victoria. With plenty of picturesque scenery, there will be lots of photo opportunities. Ride to the historic Timboon Trestle Bridge, stop at Schulz Organic Creamery and Cafe, or stop for food, local produce, sweets and ice cream in Timboon and Port Campbell.
