Da westside Explorer is a small group tour lead by a small local family owned business. This tour provides two pick up locations for your convenience; one on the East and one on the South. Available only on Tuesdays. This tour explores one of the most beautiful places on Kauai, Waimea Canyon, in-depth. We will make a total of 5 tops including the main lookout, Puu Hinahina, Waipoo Falls and more. You will have ample time to take pictures at each stop, and marvel at the beauty and power of nature. Also included are visits to the Kokee State Park, the historic town of Hanapepe, Cooks landing, and the largest coffee plantation in the US. We will share magnificent stories about the creation of the islands, the culture, the remarkable story of the Polynesians, and more. Most importantly we will make you laugh and enjoy the day. No walkers and wheelchair allowed as we do not have enough space when tours are full. Check with us the day before to see if we will have space to fit your walker.
Wear comfortable clothing, good walking shoes, hat or cap, and sunglasses.
Be on time. We are unable to wait as this tour has many pick up points, and is a long day.
If you weigh 300 lbs and up please contact us so we can make arrangements to give you an extra seat. There will be an additional fee for this.
