Everest, friendly Sherpas, Buddhist monasteries including Tengboche Monastery- the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal and of course, to the base of mighty Everest. The trek also awards us with the best viewpoints in the Everest region- Kalapatthar (5550m) and Gokyo Ri (5357m) from where the famous mountains like Mt. Everest (8848.86m), Mt Lhotse (8,516m), Mt.
