We visit the Ybycui National Park and on its premises the museum “La Rosada” of the Ybycuí iron factory. The Museum holds a collection of objects that were part of the iron factory that Pte. Carlos Antonio López was promoting. This foundation was asked to drive the modernization of the country and to apply iron technology to construction, navigation, agriculture and industry. Since 1863, the impending beginning of the war against the “Triple Alianza”, the production of war goods has been prioritized. It worked until 1869, when it was deactivated and then destroyed by the enemy army.
