There are about 650 species of birds in Namdapha, over 600 in Mishmi hills and over 350 species in Dibru Saikhowa. The region is classified as an Important Bird Area and is home to many exotic and endemic species. The landscape is mesmerizing with hills, rivers, forests and distant snow capped mountains. Namdapha and Mishmi hills are in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh while Dibru Saikhowa National Park is located on the banks of river Brahmaputra in Assam.
