Catamaran packed - only seats on the roof in direct sun left for our family of 7. Rent a Go Pro on board ASAP to take your own photos and videos in the water. $75 and they give you the SD card. Buffet lunch was nice - would recommend eating and doing semi sub FIRST as everyone is in a mad rush to snorkel first as if they’re going to miss out. Photos need to be updated on the website - the reef is not colourful anymore.

fantastic tour to the reef including snorkeling and lunch. fantastic views good clean equipment plenty of time to admire the reef and fish close up encounters of the fish drink and food fantastic apart from the miserable crew guy serving food and drinks who needed to give out smiles 25/9/22. all the other staff made up for the Mr miserable who needed to smile. top tour and guide otherwise and would strongly recommend this tour

I had a really fun time on this cruise. Snorkelling to see the reef was amazing and really enjoyable. Semi-submersible was also really cool to be able to see a bit further down. Would recommend taking the helicopter ride as it was awesome to see the reef from so far above as well. The boat being the size it was, it is to be expected that there will be a lot of people and many children and families. A number of people were sea sick so I’d recommend sitting outside at the start to take in the view before it’s populated with those feeling under the weather. A bit more guidance from the staff around booking things onboard and what to do when arriving on the pontoon would have been helpful as this was somewhat unclear at first. Would recommend grabbing a guide for the day first thing to help. Lunch was good and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, fair few around so no concerns about not being abele to find anyone or seek help. They were more than happy to help with putting on snorkelling gear and guiding you on how to snorkel for the first time. Safety seemed paramount at all times so this was really comforting.

We were incredibly lucky to go on a sunny day with great visibility so the snorkeling was as good as it gets. The kids enjoyed going out to the front of the boat to see the beautiful blue water on the way their and back. We started the day with a ride in the submersible which gave us a good idea of what was out on the reef and were lucky to spot 2 turtles. After this my son and I were so excited to start snorkeling we immediately picked up our gear and went in to practice. In the afternoon we had a fantastic tour with marine biologist Hayley who is a wonderful ambassador for the great barrier reef, it was obvious she really loves what she is doing and has done some very interesting work restoring the reef. On the tour we were able to see things we probably wouldn't have seen our own including several clownfish and a friendly turtle that hung around checking out the group for a good minute or so. Can't say anything about the lunch as we skipped it for maximum snorkelling time but it was a fantastic tour overall.

The snorkeling was good. The lunch was good. Morning and afternoon tea were a little light and ran out. The boat does take a lot of people but there were seats for everyone. There are activities for non swimmers

Our family did this adventure 2 weeks ago. It was one of the best things our family has done. It was the most perfect day on the water. We saw dolphins, turtles, fish and coral. The staff were AMAZING and the food was awesome. The guides are so helpful and we loved the marine biologist talk. We surprised my husband with the helicopter ride and he said it was worth doing and definitely a bucket list experience. We will be back!!!!!!

So we organised..... We were so impressed with this company from the office staff( Michelle) so friendly, informative and helpful, gave us so much information. We were worried as there seemed to be hundreds of people boarding and I believe there was only 9 places remaining, do not let the size of the tour put you off. Once onboard all the staff are so polite, friendly and helpful and so informative and they really do want you to have an amazing day. The boat is so large you have space and it is extremely comfortable. On the pontoon it is really well organized, we snorkelled first, had lunch around 1pm (excellent lunch) and then did two submersible rides. It was then back onboard to come home,l. Hayley is a ray of sunshine and put so much energy into our submersible trip, we loved the whole day out. Thank you to all the team!!!!

Had a wonderful day out on the reef with Quicksilver. Boat left on time, complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits on boarding. We arrived on the pontoon and lycra suits were quickly handed out. Grabbed some goggles, snorkel and some flippers and in the water we went. We had plenty of time to explore the reef, at our leisure. We also went for a 20 minute ride on the glass bottom semi submergible. A delicious lunch was served with lots of variety. A photographer was around taking land and underwater photos that you could buy. Cheese, crackers coffee and tea served on the way home. Also a shop on board to buy snacks, drinks and alcohol. We had a great day out and thought it was really good value for money. On a side note, accidentally forgot my swimmers on the boat and didn’t realise till the next day. Called up the Quicksilver office and sure enough they were there waiting in the Quicksilver office for me 😀
