Portugal

Portugal has blessed sandy beaches, a rugged coastline, cosmopolitan and architecturally gorgeous cities, and an outstanding climate. With delicious cuisine, plenty of wine, and reasonable pricing, it's the ideal holiday destination.

Portugal has a Mediterranean climate all year, although the colder months — November through February – are best avoided by sun-seekers. The rainiest months are March and April, but a beautiful May follows. This is an excellent time to visit Portugal before the summer peak rates rise.

From June through September, visitors to Portugal may experience classic festivals such as the So Joo in Porto and the Santo António in Lisbon. Beachgoers may relax on the coast with 85-degree temperatures and a faint ocean breeze. Those who find the summer too hot might visit cities in October when the weather is cooler and less congested.
