Start in Buenos Aires, one of the most fascinating South American capitals and then travel to the mystic Andes mountain range via Mendoza to try great wines and food. Uco Valley region is located at 90 minutes from the city of  Mendoza. This region is characterized by the elevation of the soils creating wines of great body and intense flavors. A private transportation will pick you up to start the tour, the driver will be also your guide and explain about the areas visited, in every winery you will enjoy a tour followed by a tasting and in one of the wineries you will enjoy a paired lunch.

This 6-day tour will allow you to cross the Andes on a horse. It is a unique experience and one of the best horseback adventure expeditions in the Andes. Our designated Driver will pick you up from your accommodation to visit the Uco Valley region. You will visit 3 wineries during a full day. The approximate duration is 7/8 hours. On this Tour, visits, tastings and lunches will be carried out according to the preferences of the passengers, these are not included in the Cost of the tour. Visits and tastings have a cost from $15 per person. Lunch at the Winery with Pairing from $35 per person. The itinerary will depend solely on the availability of reservations at the wineries. In case our clients do not know the wineries they want to visit, we will make the best recommendations.

During your experience you will visit 2 totally different wineries, where you will learn and enjoy all the secrets of the world of wine in each tasting. At the end of our third winery, it awaits us to fall in love with its wonderful gourmet cuisine, dishes prepared with local and fresh products, recipes carefully thought out to pair with each glass of wine. We will spend a wonderful unforgettable day, visiting wineries, enjoying the scenary and feeling the athmosphere of Uco Valley at the Andes Mountains.

We will pick you up at your accommodation in the morning (usually 9.10 am) and start our drive South through the iconic Route 40 to a point where we will turn to the West and start going up to the Valley.
We will do this magical scenic route of hills ands vineyards; to arrive to Tupungato; one of the main towns of Uco Valley and, after crossing the town we will arrive to the area of the wineries for our first stop.

Located 140Km away from the city of Mendoza (86 miles), the Uco Valley is a “must go” of any visit to Mendoza. Our tour is the only one to travel its three micro-terroirs: Gualtallary, Chacayes and Altamira. Enjoy the best landscape-wine-food combination that Argentina has to offer.

We fish on a fast moving river stream, teeming with rainbow and brown trout. This excursion takes you to the most beautiful, isolated valleys with private rivers. This excursion is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts. We start with your pick up at your hotel in Mendoza and we will head towards a mountain ranch in Uco Valley. We fish trout all day watched by desert fox, distant puma and condors and at 2pm we have a barbecue lunch with beef, salads and fine wines. We resume fishing in the afternoon and return to Mendoza City at 6pm. Transport with guide is included, as are snacks, lunch and drinks.  All fishing equipment is supplied. Horseback riding is available as an extra option.

We will depart Mendoza city at 08:30, and head towards Tupungato, the highest sub-region of the Uco Valley with vineyards between 1,100 metres – 1500 metres. On a good day, the scenery on the way is amazing and an attraction in its own right! Our third and final stop is where we will enjoy courses food and wine pairing lunch at a beautiful winery with views of the Andes. Our English speaking guide will be ready to answer any questions you may have about Mendoza's wine heritage and why the Uco Valley is considered to be premium grape growing land. We will return to Mendoza around 18h30.
