Once in the National Park you will start the walk to the top of the Teide. The walk if for approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes. Your official tour guide will be with you during the entire tour.

During the walk you will make some stops for rest and also to eat and drink something (picninc with food and drink are included). Once you reach the top, you will be able to admire the amazing view that the mount will give you.

You will then take the cable car in order to return to the National Park where your private driver will be waiting for you. If the day of the tour has bad weather conditions or strong winds, the cable car it might be closed, in that case you will have to return walking or perhaps you cannot do the tour at all. we are always attentive to the weather the days before the tour.

This excursion will take you sky high to enjoy a unique experience, as you encounter the highest peak in Spain, El Teide.

We will begin to ascend until we reach 2,370 m. above sea level. During the tour, we will pass through different landscapes with wonderful views and traditional villages. We will cross the forest of Canarian pine until we reach Las Cañadas del Teide, where you will begin to understand that Tenerife is an island of contrasts.

Along the route, we will make some stops so you can admire everything that this natural space offers. It was declared a National Park in 1954 with the aim of protecting this landscape of incredible beauty and great ecological value.

Optionally you can take the Teide Cable Car, located at 3550m, where you will be a few meters below the highest peak in Spain.

Explore the mysterious Volcano Teide National Park in comfort and safety. In a small group of not more than 8 people, we will drive you to the heart of Tenerife Island to see the highest point of Spain. On our way to the volcano Teide, we will stop in the most picturesque places to enjoy the highlights of Tenerife Island with beautiful photos of volcanoes and lava flows. We also take a short walk to visit the Samara Crater.
We also will pass by the old peak of the Teide “El Pico Viejo” with its huge lava field of over 5 km². Fairly recent with just over 200 years ago. Further on we arrive at the famous place named “Roques de García”. Here you’ll have some time to take some beautiful pictures, and across the street is a cafeteria and a nice souvenir shop.

In the village of Vilaflor you will find the oldest and largest pine tree “El Pino Gordo” for our last photo break.

And last but not least, a short drive through the wine region of Abono towards your hotel.
