El Yunque Rainforest
With an average rainfall of 120 inches a year, El Yunque has a very diverse ecosystem, hosting hundreds of unique plant and animal species, including the Island's famous coquí frog. From hiking various paths and trails, to riding down natural (rock) waterslides, or finding a hidden tide pool to sit and soak it all in, this stop alone is worth the trip!

This tour visits 2 of Puerto Rico's most iconic spots. The first stop is El Yunque Rainforest, the only rainforest under the US Parks Services. El Yunque is a MUST for any traveler visiting the island. This by itself makes it a rather unique place, but when you learn the history of the area (which we will give you,) you will understand that this place is much more special than expected. Our visit to El Yunque will be through areas that are not heavily transited. We do not go to the touristy places nor will we take you in a 30 passenger van. We believe nature must be appreciated wholly and you cannot do that in a crowd. In El Yunque we will hike, see waterfalls, and cliff jump in blue pools. The second stop is Piñones. Piñones is iconic for 3 reasons: The beaches, the food and the people. We will visit a beach that is absolutely breathtaking. Afterwards we will visit a mom-&-pop food stand where we get delicious food from the locals

How much of Puerto Rico can you see on one day?
Quite a lot. Puerto Rico is small, and has good infrastructure (road) so is easy to move from one place to the other. So, if your flight makes a long layover in PR, or if you stop on a cruise, or you want to see as much as possible in one day, this is the tour for you.

You will get a full tour of Old San Juan (know the history and culture of Puerto Rico), a beach forest (mangroves, lagoons), a cave and a glimpse of the rain forest.

This is not a regular commercial tour. I will show you different places. I will give you a lot of interesting information in a fun/informal way. We can be spontaneous. You can get to "feel", "breath" and "enjoy" Puerto Rico.

The gorgeous scenery combined with the amazing food we will enjoy will give you an authentic feel of what Puerto Ricans call "chinchorreo" - eating and drinking from street food vendors that don't really look like restaurants but are actually the place with the best food! Combine that with a beach that is just a short walk away and you have yourself a real Puerto Rican hangout. Drinking and eating delicious food: what more can you ask out of life? We provide transportation and life vests if required so people can really enjoy themselves with no worries. Make sure to bring money for food and beverages. We do provide either sangria or beer but if you want to buy some more, please bring cash or credit.
