In this experience you will learn and create your own craft.
We will take you to the first artisan town, San Antonino Castillo Velasco, famous for its beautiful hand-embroidered textiles and a place where you can learn and embroider a small detail that you can take with you.
Later we will visit San Martín Tilcajete, a place recognized for its Alebrijes and where you will have the opportunity to learn about the entire process to achieve these unique pieces. Here you can paint your Alebrije. And finally San Bartolo Coyotepec, the cradle of black clay. Here we will learn the process and elaboration of these beautiful crafts, in which we will participate to create and design a unique piece in the world.

Half-Day Tour to Monte Albán and Alebrijes Workshop Museum

Monte Albán is one of the attractions in Oaxaca with the most historical and cultural wealth, on this tour you will be able to walk through these impressive ruins.

After an uplifting walk through the ruins we will visit a hidden museum in the legendary town of San Antonio Arrazola, known for its sculptures of fantastic animals made of wood with hand-painted textures. If you visit Oaxaca, you have to live this experience!

We will have lunch at a buffet restaurant after visiting Monte Albán.

This tour does not include a guide in Monte Albán but we can get you one that suits your needs approximately $100 MXN per person plus the entrance fee ($90 MXN), or you can visit this archaeological zone at your own pace without the need for a guide.

The second spot is a museum where you will find the process of alebrijes, crafts with great cultural value, you will be able to see their evolution and see a great variety of these sculptural pieces.
