However, a majority of the city’s highlights are on the outskirts of Oslo, such as the great Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Holmenkollen ski- and recreation area (with the best panorama view of the city!). There is also the "museum peninsula" of Bygdøy, just across the bay, where you will find the open-air Folk Museum, the Fram (Polar) Museum, the Maritime Museum and the Kon-Tiki raft expedition Museum.  There are nice restaurants up in the hills or by the fjord for a lunch and/or dinner break We'd gladly recommend one..

Our tour starts and ends in central Oslo, making it very easy and fast to get to, and to get back to your residence afterwards.

Continuing our urban kayak adventure we arrive in Grønland - Oslo’s cultural heart! From here we paddle out onto the Oslo Fjord – but first through a 500m long tunnel thats flows underneath the heart of Oslo city!

To end the trip we will paddle out into Oslofjord, past the new Munch Museum & finish beside the Oslo Opera House – an iconic Oslo landmark!
