Los Arcos is a group of five islets, between 15 and 150 feet high, located in the waters of Bahía de Banderas, about 6 miles south of Puerto Vallarta city. Three of these islets have natural tunnels from which their current name comes; once they were known as Las Peñas.

This site presents a great scenic beauty, because among its rocks and vegetation nest and rest various marine and coastal birds such as brown pelicans, magnificent frigatebirds, seagulls, herons, among others.
