You will be picked up at the port or airport (or any area of the metropolitan area, at your choice) and from there we will depart to see several of the main places on the island (the list below is just a suggestion). This tour is perfect for beginners/first tour on the island or if you only want to spent some few hours on a road bike. and you will get a sense of what i would say to climb a real mountain or how hard 5-15% steep short segments feels like.

From Puerto de la Cruz.we will start our 7 km climb untill the Humboldt Observatory plateau, where there is a marvellous view over the valley, PDC and the Atlantic ocean. After that we pass thru the old part of Orotava village and cross the Orotava valley, before we have 5 km climb up to another spectacular viewpoint. From there we will head back to La Orotava and PDC

In total it's a 45km ride and 1000mt ascent.

You will descend directly down the valley of La Orotava on the way to a prestigious winery located in El Sauzal. A guided visit will take you through the vineyards and the cellar to see the wine production process. After being picked up in Puerto de la Cruz, we will head towards one of the most visited watchtowers in the Canary Islands: El Mirador de Humboldt.

Our guide will give you a brief interpretation of the history of the Canary Islands.

The next stop is the Valle de La Orotava Farmer's Market. This place is a weekly meeting point between consumers and local producers. You can find a wide variety of products: fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, honey, eggs, cheeses, bakery and confectionery, flowers, crafts, wines, etc.

After that you go to Bodegas Tajinaste. There we will learn the ins and outs of one of the reference wineries in the Canary Islands whose wines can be found not only in some of the best restaurants in the Canary Islands and the Iberian Peninsula but also in the United States, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom.

And we will finish with a good taste in the mouth with a tasting of a selection of 3 wines with a small snack.
