In this tour we take you to make a cultural journey through two of the most beautiful cities in the country. In order to know the history of Portugal we have to go to its roots and that means to go head north of Porto to Guimarães, the nation's birthplace, and Braga, a city founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years.

Guimarães is proudly the cradle of nationality, since in the distant twelfth century, here we gained independence from the kingdom of León, having been established as the capital of the Portucalense County. Since then, the city has maintained its defensive walls, castle, burgh and workers/peasants quarters until the 19th century. Today, we can still marvel at its medieval genesis, with the small squares and narrow streets, in addition to admiring the great monuments and cultural legacy present in every corner of the city.
