In this house, the artist lived most of her life; initially with her family and years later, with Diego Rivera. Frida wanted to leave her home as a museum, to be enjoyed by her beloved Mexico. For this reason, after her death, Diego organized here, the Frida Kahlo Museum.

Since the Museum’s inauguration in July 1958, the Blue House exhibits the ambiance that inspired Frida for her creation, as well as her personal belongings. An Art day trip to the most famous Mexican Artists Museums. Located in Coyoacan (an old colonial town which is now incorporated into Mexico City) is the famed Blue House, built by Frida Kahlo's father and her home for most of her life. Close by is Leon Trotsky's house, now a museum too. We will also visit Anahuacalli, a museum that Diego Rivera built with an Aztec-inspired design, for his collection of pre-Hispanic ceramic pieces, strongly supported by Frida.

Our tour begins with a visit to Ciudad Universitaria where you will be able to appreciate its sports facilities, open spaces, as well as some buildings decorated with murals by Juan O'Gorman and Diego Rivera, declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Then we will visit the colors of Xochimilco, place of flowers, where our accredited guide will explain about its origins, which date back to pre-Hispanic times while you enjoy a traditional trajinera ride.
