The Benagil Express Gold Tour last's 2hours, and departs from Portimão, heading eastwards. You pass the castle of S. João do Arade at Ferragudo and head out to sea, following the coastline of cliffs and coves, passing the amazing rock formations at Boneca and Algar Seco, past the beaches of Carvoeiro, Centeanes and Carvalho, before coming to Benagil where you can see one of the most famous sea caves. All along the route, the Benagil Express takes you into 10 or 12 different caves (depending on the sea and weather conditions), all stunning in their natural beauty. Rambling in the West Algarve is an exciting Self-Guided walking tour in a walker’s paradise destination. The climate is perfect for hiking for most of the year, and the countryside teems with wildlife, bright coloured flowers, and picturesque villages. The coastline boosts impressive rock formations, cliffs, secluded beaches and amazing blue seascapes. The base of our tour is Portimão, on the banks of the river Arade, a town with a low-key and relaxed ambience. The adjoining Praia da Rocha is one of the most scenic and famous beach resorts in the Algarve.

A 7h30 activity on a sailing catamaran where you will visit the coast and rock formations between Vilamoura Marina and Benagil Cave, and enjoy a barbecue on a secluded beach. Due to the vessel having a mast with 20 meters high, visit to the caves will be limited, considering this characteristic.

You’ll transfer to a dinghy and then disembark at a secluded beach that’s inaccessible by land. Enjoy a variety of recreational activities, sip refreshing drinks, and enjoy a unique meal prepared by the crew.

During your time at the beach, you will have water and beach sports equipment available, including stand-up paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, and balls, rackets, and other beach games.

Learn about the different flora and fauna and see some of the old customs still in practice - the traditional way of making of honey and distilling of medronho - a very potent local drink which you will have the chance to sample.
