Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price.

As parents to four grown children, and a grandbaby, we created a tour designed to focus on the kids and making it their best day on the Lake.  On all charters, children under the age of 13 are required by the Coast Guard to wear and lifejacket.  We have all sizes to select for children and adults for your peace of mind and convenience.
 
Upon arrival at the boat, children are greeted by the Captain and named honorary First Mates.  Each child is given a printed Captains Guide.  The guide has facts and figures about the lake, and a checklist of the places they see. 

The first order of business is learning about boat safety.  The Captain will also share simple boat operations, how to tie up a boat and coiling the lines. Kokanee Salmon Learn about the Kokanee salmon and see the Taylor Creek area where they migrate annually. Swimming! Yes, we’ll have time to swim in beautiful Lake Tahoe with pool toys & noodles.

Join Captain Bryan for a mystical and spooky boat tour of Lake Tahoe’s most famous ghost haunts. On board the luxurious Grateful Red boat, you’ll be treated to hot chocolate and pumpkin spice cookies as we set out on the lake. As we enter Emerald Bay, look for the ghost of Captain Rich Barter and smell the cinnamon toast a favorite of the former house mistress, Lora Knight. If the spirits permit, we dock in Emerald Bay at the Vikingsholm where you can walk the estate grounds. During the fall, the grounds are empty and this is your chance to see the estate up close and personal. Captain Bryan may be able to spot the legendary Tahoe Tessie, the secret sea creature lurking in the 1649 foot deep lake. We return to safe harbor enjoying a twilight cruise as the stars emerge.

Our Private Emerald Bay Cruises are 2-hours, departing either in the morning or afternoon. I would love to be your Tahoe local friend and lead you on a 2 mile hike to a beautiful overlook of Emerald Bay and the ENTIRE Lake Tahoe basin. In my 25 years of living here, I have explored many of the trails and much of shoreline around Tahoe and this vantage point is one of my favorites. Also available for the sunrise, sunset, and/or moonrise! Great for groups and team building. Beginner and kid friendly too. Intermediate-level hike available too. I am happy to try and accommodate mobility challenged/differently abled folks on the hike.

The experience begins with a paved walk on a campground road. Then the trail turns to dirt with a slight incline for about ¼ mile until we get to the lookout point. If you are visiting Tahoe during the winter time, the hike will most likely be covered in snow. Snow boots or hiking boots will be needed. I can bring a sled to help tow the kiddos. The hike may be weather dependent due to heavy snowfall.
