Starting early, we offer a safe, fun, efficient full day that is focused just on Cradle Mountain. No extra accommodation required - just a day pack.

It is a lovely drive through the heart of Tasmania, passing through charming villages, farmlands, forest, by Mountains, around lakes and over rivers. you will see so much of Tasmania in one day, with just the right amount of commentary along the way, not too much, and plenty of time to chill.

We will also guide you inside Cradle Mountain NP to make the most of our time there - up to 5 hours, a really good amount of time to explore, hike, climb, walk, photograph, sit, breathe, enjoy.

We start early (6am) and return to Hobart at 9pm.

Highlights of this 3 day workshop include two sunsets and two sunrises at Dove Lake; wildlife, including Tasmanian Devils up close at the Devils@Cradle park. Cradle Mountain National Park is one of the five national park areas which together form the Tasmanian Wilderness World heritage Area. We continue our journey into the mountains, passing through the forests, plains and highlands, to arrive at Cradle mountain and Dove Lake – the World Heritage Reserve after a 2.5 hour road journey. From there, you have the opportunity to go on one many of Tassie's great short walks, from 30 minute returns to around 2 hour circuits with amazing mountain and lake views.

On the return from Cradle Mountain, we will make a stop at Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm Cheese, where you will have the opportunity to taste some of Tassie's finest cheese.
