Stunning waterfalls, natural pools and lots of greenery await you on a delightful walk along the ancient path of Gold. Knowing all that nature offers us in the midst of the Atlantic Forest, as well as sampling the sweets and cachaças of the region, is a must-see!

2 waterfalls complexes will be visited. The first one inside the Pedra Branca Farm, where you can find the Usina and Pedra Branca waterfalls.

After a refreshing swim, we continue to the Parana or Pedra Branca Alembic, where we will have a guided tour to discover all the secrets of the famous cachaças in Paraty, including the famous GABRIELA carnation and cinnamon!

Afterwards we will go to the second complex of Waterfalls in the Penha neighborhood.

There you can find the 2 most famous waterfalls in Paraty: Tarzan and Tobogã. The latter famous by the natural slide of approximately 20 meters.

We will have lunch at Tarzan's restaurant, we will return to the city. Cheese tasting at the end

Embark on a journey through the historical town of Paraty. Famous for the Gold Path connecting Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro during the Gold Cycle, Paraty has kept its historical buildings almost intact. It feels like we are back to the Colonial Times in Brazil.
Starting with hotel pickup, we take the Green Coast path to Paraty. Beautiful green landscapes prepare you for the city ahead. Take this opportunity to plan the itinerary with the tour guide. It is a private tour, so you may choose what to do in Paraty. You can visit a distillery to see how they produce the cachaça - our national liquor -, you can swim at the waterfalls, you can lay down on the beach, you can visit the historical landmarks or you can do some shopping in town. The tour departs from Paraty and heads out towards the vibrant Serra da Bocaina National Park, a vast area of protected Atlantic rainforest. Arrive at the park and hike through the tropical forest until you reach the stunning Pedra Branca waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the region. The latter famous by the natural slide of approximately 20 meters. Lots of amusement and crystal clear water. We will spend approximately 2 hours in these cahcoeiras, taking advantage of the toboggan. We will visit the Engenho D'oro Alembic, where we will have a guided tour to know the famous cachaças of Paraty, including the famous GABRIELA carnation and cinnamon! We will also get to know the Penha Church and Toten da Estrada Real. In the totem we will tell the whole history of the path of Gold that passed through Paraty.

Leaving the Center, we take the Paraty Cunha road to Cachoeira da Pedra Branca, on the way back we make a stop at Alambiques and continue to Cachoeira do Tobogã, stopping for an optional lunch.

The walk’s route has 3.6 km length, where a tour guide will be waiting for you to take the public transportation and start the hike surrounded by natural attractions and also leading you to an ecotourism environment.

Firstly, you’ll see one of the most beautiful places located in Serra da Bocaina National Park with stunning views and great beauty. We’ll enjoy a variety of landscapes, different fauna species, and representative flora in Mata Atlântica.

The tour guide during the excursion will provide information on the type of pavement, type of material found in the excavations, and characteristics of Mata Atlântica’s surroundings, as well as life and history related to that period of time.
